Pergamino Farm

Just a note to tell you about my farm here in east central Minnesota. I have 20 acres of good pasture and I raise my own hay. My sheep produce fine fiber which is made into artisan yarns as well as raw fleeces, roving, and washed wool being available. I have both horned and polled Icelandics and Black Welsch Mountain Sheep. Also I breed colored angora goats. This summer I am adding some purebred Corriedales and CVM/Romedale sheep fleeces available this coming spring.

I breed some of my sheep stock so have breeding stock available for purchase. I belong to Isbona as well as the Black Welsch Mountains Sheep Society. Please contact me as to what sheep or goats may be available at any time.

I have two older llamas, "Remington" and "Ellie" who donate their fiber to the cause. My animals are well fenced and have my two Great Pyrenees herding dogs living with them. I have never lost a sheep to a predator which is my aim as I do not believe it is necessary to kill off coyotes, wolves etc. One should be responsible in the care of both dopmestic and wild animals. There has to be a way for both to co-exist. I love raising my sheep and goats and the dogs are "family". I welcome visitors so if you are in the area please drop in. Just call ahead. Also there is a little "shop".
